VIVETTA KIDS

Vivetta Ponti grew up surrounded by antiques, art and nature in the idyllic Italian city of Assisi. After moving to Florence to attend the Academy of Fine Arts, the creative has honed her skills in Bologna and Milan, where she continued her studies before falling in love with the fashion world. While working for a series of luxury brands, Vivetta began to learn all about embroidery and developed embellishment techniques that would continue to form the basis of her label.
In 2009, Vivetta made her debut at White Milano before being selected by Giorgio Armani to take part in a collective exhibition at the iconic Armani venue during the 2015/16 fall / winter fashion week in Milan. Vivetta won the Tao Award, became the first designer to join the Swarovski Collective project and perform in Beijing as part of the Mercedes-Benz international design exchange program.
Inspired by her love for animals, especially cats, happy memories and stories from her childhood, Vivetta conveys the charm of vintage toys, antiques and tapestries in poetic collections with a surrealist touch. His creations are moving ideas that refer to designers of different artistic disciplines: from Italian legends Gio Ponti and Fornasetti, to Art Deco works by Erté, illustrations by Luigi Serani, photographs by Slim, masterpieces by Pablo Picasso. Vivetta's dreamlike drawings move to the sound of Marianne Faithfull and Connan Mockasin, Catherine Deneuve and Nouvelle Vague. The experimental animated films of the 60s and 70s and references to the creative minds of Norman McLaren, René Jodoin, Co Hoedeman, Caroline Leaf, Yuri Norstein, Hermina Tyrlova, Jan Svankmaier and Jirí Trnka are all scattered in Vivetta's work.
